“Weeds”, “Dexter” leaked?

It is nice to see a bastion of the old, copyright-mad media latching on to the intertubes, rather than trying to suppress them.

This is a bit of an old story, but recently the first several episodes of the Showtime network’s original program “Weeds” were leaked to BitTorrent, resulting in no shortage of speculation that Showtime itself was behind the leak.

Showtime, of course, remained mum on the matter, but downloaders subsequently enjoyed extremely, some might say even suspiciously, well-seeded and snappy torrents. No conspicuous litigation from the Showtime camp, either. Seems like both sides are pretty happy with the transaction.

And now, your neighbor’s kid can help you get a pristine copy of the first two episodes of Showtime’s other breakout series, “Dexter“, as well.

Or, perhaps it could all be a coincidence after all. Cui Bono in reverse, I’m sure.

The pacific coast hotels have always been known for their cheap seasonal vacation packages. Even a vacation at miami hotel differs from one on other coastline. The aloha airlines do a fairly good job of delivering vacationers over there. Even the cheap airline tickets further promotes the tourism at the pacific coast. One does not even have to get hotel reservations prior to coming here.
